Cisco Live, Barcelona
Cisco Live is a large annual customer and partner conference organised by the leading networking and technology company Cisco. Working with events agency George P. Johnson in 2019 and 2020, I was 2D design lead for Makerspace, The Park, the restaurant, and various other spaces and stands, pushing Cisco's brand guidelines to create a vibrant and dynamic visual environment. I worked closely with creative directors, 3D designers, production teams, suppliers, installers and clients to keep the gears moving, maintaining creative quality, and overseeing installation to rigorous standards.

Alcatel-Lucent, Mobile World Congress, Barcelona
Working with the event agency Shelton Fleming, I created and art directed the graphic look and feel and video content for Alcatel Lucent's presence at MWC. Working closely with a multimedia contractor and animator, I devised a multi-screen layout incorporating LED pillars at the front of the stand, with inlaid LED tape connecting the pillars to the rear wall screen montage which was the main feature of the stand. The video content made full use of the versatile screen domain, transitioning between focused messaging in zoned areas to grandiose animated sweeps that took in the entire stand from edge to edge and front to back.

Emirates NBD Bank of the Future, Dubai
Emirates NBD's vision of the branch of the future centred around a blended approach to banking, combining traditional services with cutting-edge technology and personalised experiences. I created the visual treatment for the environmental graphics, storyboarding and art directing extensive animations and video sequences. These included bespoke screens displaying an animated cityscape transitioning from day to night, digital exhibits demonstrating innovative banking solutions, and advisory services led by customer service representatives and financial advisors.

Bawag Bank, Austria
Bawag Bank required a new graphical treatment for their showcase branch in Mödling that reflected its Austrian heritage, and would also provide a reassuring and welcoming environment for customers. As lead designer, I created a look and feel that drew on the natural surroundings of the nearby Austrian landscape and the people that explored it. I adapted the bank's sharp and angular red 'sail' motif to become an anchor shape for in-branch signage, and softened it to become a layered, translucent super graphic for use with privacy screens and animated digital screen motifs. I also created a set of guidelines for roll-out across other branches.

Design Council
Design Council required a concept for their London-based staff that visualised metrics for the effectiveness of design in business. Rather than suggesting a wall-mounted infographic or a printed brochure, we devised a series of environmental installations throughout Design Council's offices with which colleagues could interact and engage.
The success of this installation led to further projects for Design Council, including 'From the Inside Looking Out' – an event at Birmingham Metropole – and 'Turn Learning Around' campaign branding for the exterior of Design Council's former Covent Garden offices, utilising large format lenticular lightbox images in the ground floor windows.
Designed and produced in partnership with Gavin Ambrose.
Arab Bank, Jordan
A brand refresh for Arab Bank's digital branch concept in Jordan, designed at Allen International. As lead designer, I created the look and feel for the innovative mirror screen surfaces – featuring controlled, contemporary infographic animations – that provided a stunning centrepiece for showcase branches. The brand refresh included the introduction of an expanded brand language suitable for a consistent user interface across devices and ATMs, branch signage, and design guidelines created in Keynote.

Thames Water, Green Park office branding
When Thames Water opened their Kemble Court Operations Management Centre in Reading, they wanted to bring their glass and concrete building to life. Bearing in mind that staff from several offices were being brought together at a business centre a long way from the people they were serving, we recommended a treatment that would focus on the customer. Large-scale photographs of customers using water in their day-to-day lives, be it for business or pleasure, served to remind employees of the people they were serving. Quotes from customers, using fresh, everyday language, punctuated the space throughout the four floors of Kemble Court. Messaging reinforcing brand values and operational excellence accompanied the images and quotes, embedding Thames Water’s customer-focused ethos into the fabric of the environment.
